Even its original form, there was a certain tropical feeling to Chip Tha Ripper's 2010 track "(Bitch I) Feel Good." Maybe it was in the reggae influence of the off beat guitar squawks, or its general lean-back beach vibe. At any rate, UK producer Gold Panda grabbed a hold of that feeling and brought it to the forefront of his "Unofficial Hancock Version" of Chip's track, splicing up rolling steel drum melodies and pairing it with straight boom bap. He leaves tha Ripper's charismatic verses intact, reppin' for Cleveland behind Gold Panda's Carribean beat. Check out the track, fresh as today's paper, right here.
