Chester French are Ivy League white boy R&B clowns who are signed to Pharell Williams' Star Trak. They've been catching hype for the better part of two years (hitching a ride on the MGMT and Vampire Weekend "These bands are from schools that are hard to get into" wagon), and their debut album, Love the Future, is out this week. The band took lead single "She Loves Everybody" to Jimmy Fallon last night, and lead singer D.A. Wallach tried his best to get the crowd behind the band, but he ended up seeming way out of breath and ended up mostly shouting. The song is slithering and intimate on wax, so at least Chester French have that going for them.
Love the Future is out via Star Trak/Interscope.
