Charles Hamilton has taken the flood the marketplace approach when it comes to his music; dude has released more mixtapes than the full length album tally for 10 rappers combined. He's actually working on a full-length debut that you can actually buy a physical copy of, This Perfect Life, which is due out on June 23 via Interscope. The first single from the set, "Barbra Walters," is out now, and it finds Hamilton using journalism as a metaphor for going back in time and telling his younger self how things will shake out. The beat is a bleary, guitar washed blazer, but Hamilton should probably avoid singing as much as possible, because while his off-key whining gives the song emotional heft, it's pretty rough.
