Chali 2na: "Step Yo Game Up"

Formerly known as the most recognizable voice in Jurassic 5, Chali 2na has been doing the solo thing for more than a year now. His new career arc officially began with his proper debut, 2009's solid but lacking Fish Outta Water. It appears that 2na is still on his grind, though, as he's warming up the Fish Market Pt. 2 mixtape for release this year with the help of DJ Dez Andres. Its first leak, "Step Yo Game Up," isn't particularly impressive, but 2na is clearly still at the top of his game flow-wise. And it's actually more the plodding beat that causes the track to fall kind of flat, though repeated listens have made it sound slightly better.
