It’s been a while since we heard from Brooklyn duo Chairlift—the last full length record by the band was the 2008 release Bruises. Patrick Wimberly from the group has been working on Das Racist’s Relax in recent times, but he also has a new Chairlift album in the bag, which is set for release at some point later this year. The single “Amanaemonesia” is being offered up as a preview of that recording, and the video above (co-directed by singer Caroline Polachek) pairs its Glasser-like groove with some serious dance moves. Anyone looking for a Jane Fonda-like workout pastiche to fit with their retro ‘80s lifestyle may just have found what they’re looking for here.
