Cee-Lo Green: "The Ol' Sauseej" (Broken Bells Cover, Sorta)
You're not the first person to realize that Broken Bells, the supergroup of Danger Mouse and James Mercer, sounds pretty much exactly like Gnarls Barkley, but with a different singer. Gnarls member Cee-Lo noticed too: He did a goofy cover of "The Ghost Inside" last night called "The Ol' Sauseej" which talks about Chicago style sausage with sesame seeds and about getting sausage inside you. Like I said, it's pretty goofy. The track probably isn't any ill-will towards Broken Bells, but it's funner to imagine Cee-Lo taking the piss out of James Mercer.
