Cass McCombs: "County Line"
"County Line" is the first taste of Cass McComb's upcoming release WIT's END we've been given, and it definitely bodes well for the rest of the album. Immaculately recorded drums tap out the beat while the rest of the soulful ballad's organs and keyboards build around them. As for McCombs, he turns in a wonderfully varied vocal performance, his voice swooning from a plaintive croon to a delicate falsetto throughout the song. The track is over five minutes long, but it's definitely worth sticking around for. Give it a listen below.
