Cass McCombs: "Bradley Manning" (Video)

Cass McCombs has released a limited edition 7” single featuring his tribute to alleged Army whistleblower “Bradley Manning,” which just got the video below. This bleached-out clip was directed by longstanding Flaming Lips collaborator Bradley Beesley, who was presumably chosen for reasons other than his first name matching the subject of the song. The video was shot in Manning’s hometown of Crescent, OK, on Independence Day, and its Instagram-like feel is a perfect match for the slow crawl of the song. Check it out below.
