Camp Lo, Pete Rock: '80 Blocks From Tiffany's' (Mixtape)

Need some good ol' fashioned East Coast boom-bap in your life? Well, Camp Lo and Pete Rock -- I know, right? what a combo -- have joined forces to satisfy your New York-rap cravings. And it turns out that this mixtape, 80 Blocks from Tiffany's, is just the precursor for a full-length album from the group that's due out this summer.

80 Blocks from Tiffany's also apparently serves two purposes. Portions of the tape are dedicated to blends by Trackstar The DJ, who has mixed Camp Lo a cappellas with Pete Rock beats from the Mecca and the Soul Brother era. Elsewhere, though, you get to hear new material from the group, such as "Mic Check." If this mixtape is any indication, the actual album should definitely be worth checking for.
