Cadence Weapon: "Loft Party"

After flipping a Grimes track last month to create boom-bap ode "88," Cadence Weapon returns with another new cut in "Loft Party." This time around, he's tackling the menacing, massive instrumental from Meek Mill's "House Party," aka one of the best mainstream bruisers of 2011. While Mill was trying to get the, well, house parties goin' wild, Cadence is showing love for all the venues he performed at over the years that have since been shut down. Or, in his words:

This is the loft party anthem. R.I.P. kHz, Circles, the Emergency Room, Red Gate, !059, the Peanut Gallery, Lab Synthese, Silver Door, Torn Curtain and all the other after-hours establishments I've played at.

Also, um, dude just straight up rips this beat. Check it out below.
