I like Busta's part but don't like the singing.

Well, Busta seems like a crappy rapper next to Mike Shinoda though...

linkin park are known for their diversity in the music genre's of today...this track has all the hallmarks of a classic for both artist (busta) and group (linkin park) and could bring more collaborations together further down the line. give them a break thi track is goin places!

April 29, 2008 at 9:39 a.m.

Really good track. Busta's rap could use a little more work imo but overall the beats amazing.

Good job Busta/LP.

April 29, 2008 at 10:01 a.m.

this is the tune of the year ! by my fav linkin park and a very good artist busta rhymes x

April 29, 2008 at 11:50 a.m.

It should be Linkin Park ft. Busta Rhymes because Chester + Mike + Brad's guitar make the song. Busta needs to take some lessons from Mike on rapping.
Good song though :)

April 29, 2008 at 11:50 a.m.

it's crab i think

April 29, 2008 at 11:50 a.m.

April 29, 2008 at 12:50 p.m.

props, this track is the next lollipop, lol

April 29, 2008 at 12:50 p.m.

unfortunately this song really sucks(((

April 29, 2008 at 2:38 p.m.

I give it a 7 out of 10 . In my opinion I think the song itself would have been better if Mike Shinoda did the lead rapping but I know this was Busta's project. What I do like is the piano parts and Chester Bennington's vocals.

Dislikes:

- Never been a big fan of rock/rap mash-ups (read: "It's Goin' Down" by Mike Shinoda, dude from Static-X and the X-cecutioners)

- Busta REALLY let me down with this one. Go back a listen to 'Anarchy' or 'Extinction Level Event' and tell me this isn't the worst Busta lyrics since "I Love My B*tch".

- Chester's signature 'screamo' voice didn't have a chance to do damage because of that terrible, synth-slap beat in the background.

Likes:

- Ummm...The piano made it sound like OneRepublic, sort of. Right? OneRepublic is cool. Errr...right, guys?

April 29, 2008 at 5:56 p.m.

anything lp does is going to rock. no matter who they sing with. they could sing with willie nelson and it would be awesome. busta is old school but that is why i like him. he isnt like all the rap starts that are out now. keep it up guys.

April 29, 2008 at 8:19 p.m.

yo this song is straight Busta and mike killed it i don't know what anybody else thinks but i think its amazing

April 29, 2008 at 9:41 p.m.

Quit bitching it's a good track. For once a mainstream rap song and the lyrics are about something real rather than all that Crank that crap. Might not be Busta or Mike's ultimate best lyrics but they're good. And it's really a hip-hop song with rock elements not really a rock/rap track. Shows that Mike and Chester are two of the most diverse vocalists in music right noe. For once a deccent hip-hop song will enter the charts, so I'm happy, Busta, Mike, Chester and everyone that helped with the song might revolutionize the music industry, and all the other rappers hopefully may follow and make real lyrics.

Singularly, each and every one of these artists have shining qualities that allow them to excel in their respective genres, but unfortunately as a collaborative effort they fall quite short of the finish line.

It's too much of a jumble with Busta's lyric swagger, Chester's projective screams, and Shinoda's "yes-yes-ya'll" rhymes.

You can just throw a synth beat, piano scales, guitar riffs and a few big names together in a pot and think it's going to be a hit every time. That's not "revolutionary", that's referred to as "passive progression". Google that...

April 30, 2008 at 1:43 a.m.

Although this is Busta's project I think he really let it down. You can barely understand half of his raps, he should take some lessons from Mike Shinoda.

This song really shows the diversity of Linkin Park, without them this song would flop. It's just better with the visuals of the video too, Didn't like it quite at first because of Busta's raps, but it's growing on me as I learn to block them out.

gr8 8.0

Sounds great, i really like fort minor and obviously that guys the one from linkin park. There's other rappers that would have been better than Busta tho. It's around an 8.5

May 2, 2008 at 8:20 a.m.

This is one of the best songs of linkin park that i've ever heard of! I'ts really beautiful. Busta and Mike did a great job also.I hope that they will work together in the future.
I give the guys a perfect 10!

May 4, 2008 at 1:32 p.m.

i agree with bri. the synth part in the chours kills chester's vocals and makes them sound fake, plastic and manurfactured.

the thing for me that makes this song a 4 for me is the piano and mike's rapping, which is seemless as usual. i love linkin park but this song is a bit of a let down

May 5, 2008 at 8:04 a.m.

THIS TRACK IS HOT!!! BUSTA RHYMES IS THE BEST MOTHAPHUCKIN RAPPER OF ALL TIMES AND THE CHITE HE KICK IS DOPE!!!

May 6, 2008 at 1:14 p.m.

im luvin dis, n i ent even a linkin park fan. dis iz hott xxx

May 8, 2008 at 6:11 p.m.

yeah the linkin park side of the track is great however it would have been a lot better especially for younger listeners if busta wasn't like nig*er this and nig*er that. that is just childish words that take down the meaning of a song

May 15, 2008 at 12:15 p.m.

The way i see it, the track was produced by one of the best in the world ever, mike shinoda. The man behind fort minor and minutes to midight, brought the mash up with jay z, and helped lupe fiasco, the man is a damn genious, he should be respected for his ability to make good music, and busta, all i need to say is that the man is a genious too. chester bennigton, the voice of rock. lp and busta, respect to both.....

May 18, 2008 at 7:35 p.m.

this song is beast i think this is a ten def.
busta isnt my fav rapperr but this song is his best
and lincoln park is pretty awesome
but this is there best song too

May 19, 2008 at 10:40 a.m.

it does show linkin parks diversity in the music industry
im still hit and miss on this, growing on me though

May 22, 2008 at 12:32 p.m.

I've never seen so much dislike for Busta. It's almost as if people didn't know (or were'nt old enough to care at the time) who he was before he made this. Take lessons from Mike...really?

May 26, 2008 at 12:25 p.m.

Man this hit is hot ever.Mike Shinoda did his part so with Bustter and Linkin Park i dont see anything to brame they both communicate well you hear the vocals from Buster in Linkin part so skilful and even what Mike sound,he really knows where to breath. This is it folks they did it together ON THE WALL.

May 26, 2008 at 2:39 p.m.

Linkin Park are getting more and more popular, as both rappers and rockers are into their music. Combining their music with rappers is a good stragety. I am more of a rocker, and i dont like rap or rnb hip hop music. Some of my friends do, and they keep asking me about linkin park and what songs they have. I think its great their letting people with different styles of music unite.

May 27, 2008 at 9:08 p.m.

July 15, 2008 at 5:49 p.m.

This tune is sick! that linkin park muthafuka is an ok rapper for a white boy. Busta is boss though.

July 20, 2008 at 12:01 p.m.

I dunno why some of you are hatin' on this track, but this joint is off the hook. Sure it isn't anything groundbreaking, but respect it for what it is--good music putting out a positive message about making it in the world despite all the haters out there.

Oh and by the way, to TrueGrenadian, Mike Shinoda isn't a "white boy". But should that matter in music? Seriously?

July 21, 2008 at 3:52 p.m.

This is so good with linkin park, but yeah busta is a gangsta gang banger

July 22, 2008 at 10:46 p.m.

October 20, 2008 at 6:57 a.m.

Its more on LP's Part not on Busta: its been better if Linkin Park Ft. Busta rhymes, Its would be nice to hear LP Alone Version of this song without busta...

November 20, 2008 at 7:07 p.m.
