Something new seems to leak every week from Busta’s B.O.M.B. (due Dec. 9) so who knows what of it will end up actually making it to the record. “Light Up a Fire” isn’t the best of what we’ve heard so far but it’ll make a pretty decent album cut. This one belongs in the “vintage sound” column alongside the underappreciated certified banger “Don’t Touch Me,” though more in aesthetic than quality. Busta is far more subdued on this one but by any normal person’s standards he’s still “roawr rwoar like a dungeon dragon.” Just more like a dungeon dragon enjoying cocktails with his classy lady friend. I’m gonna start calling him Busta Burgandy.
