When it was first announced a while ago that fevered kuduro peddlers Buraka Som Sistema were going to cover Neneh Cherry's "Buffalo Stance" for Dr. Marten's 50th Anniversary, it was hard to get a mental handle on how this track would sound, because the performer and original song are both so idiosyncratic.
