Built To Spill: "Oh Yeah" (Live on Letterman) (Video)

The members of Built To Spill have reconvened and have a new album out titled There Is No Enemy, which is the seventh studio record in their distinguished career. They turned up for David Letterman’s show on Friday (Oct. 16), where they performed the slow-burn track “Oh Yeah.”  

This song is all about the guitars, with several solos rippling to the surface throughout, and the languorous, Crazy Horse-like groove providing suitable backing. “Oh Yeah” wouldn’t sound out of place in J Mascis’s hands, and Built To Spill look just as uncomfortable on late night TV as the Dinosaur Jr. frontman would.
