Brandon Flowers joined Bruce Springsteen and the E Street Band onstage this weekend at Pinkpop Festival in the Netherlands to do "Thunder Road." Considering Flowers spent his second album (Sam's Town) trying to be the Boss (he's not), the collabo makes sense, but circa his band's latest album (Day & Age) he's trying to be all New Wave again, so it seems kind of late. On the plus side, Flowers looks pretty damn happy, and not in a "I'm happy because I'm supposed to be for the purpose of this music video we're shooting right now" kind of way, but in a geeked out fanboy living a dream way. All told, this might be the least obnoxious thing that has ever happened Re: the Killers. [Stereogum]
