Broken Social Scene’s Forgiveness Rock Record has been the band’s most successful release in the United States to date, and to celebrate they performed “Texico Bitches” on Jimmy Fallon’s show last night (June 15). Fallon can barely suppress his laughter as he slip over the word “bitches” in his intro.
This is a slow-build number from the group, which bears a distinctly poppy feel that makes it the perfect fit for a scorching hot summer’s day. Lucky British fans can catch Broken Social Scene at Glastonbury on June 27, where the sun will either provide a perfect accompaniment or it will be a total mudbath—that’s the chance you take at that particular festival.
