Danger Mouse and James Mercer get into some weird promotional hijinks in this new video for "The High Road," in which they ask a panel of kids whether or not the song passes or fails. If these kids were judging if it passed or failed the test to not sound like the Shins, it would have failed. Someone needs to allow that first kid to have a childhood. "I didn't like the synthesizer bits in the chorus." Kid is like 12. He should be searching the internet for pictures of boobs, not being cynical about synthesizers. Kids grow up too fast these days.
