Broken Bells: "The High Road" (Live on Kimmel) (Video)

Brian Burton (aka Danger Mouse) and James Mercer brought their Broken Bells to Jimmy Kimmel’s show last night (June 17), where they performed “The High Road” from Broken Bells. The band are about to jet off to the U.K., where a coveted position on the Glastonbury Festival roster awaits them.

This is another set from Kimmel’s large outdoor stage in Los Angeles, and the setting suits the band—cast out into a wide open space, the expansiveness of “The High Road” sounds like the perfect twilight summer anthem. It’s likely the group has been practicing with this in mind, as further festival dates will follow over the next few months.
