Your appreciation of British Sea Power's "Living Is So Easy" video is probably going to be contingent on your appreciation of blue lipstick, and for meandering Brit-pop. But mostly blue lipstick, since it's basically a character here, what with everyone wearing it as they contemplate shopping and going to parties. I guess the song is about the relative ease of modern life, if modern life is almost exclusively about being popped up from a black background.
