That mix-up always cracked me up -- which is probably why I’ll give a tip of the hat to Letterman for introducing renowned band Bright Eyes as “Reno-owned.” Is that an upgrade or a downgrade from Omaha?
Conor Oberst’s crew rolled through last night to perform the rocker “Jejune Stars” from the band’s recently released The People’s Key. The performance was spirited and driving -- fitting for the up-tempo song. But did it get Dave to uncross his arms as he lingered in the shadows (2:02)?
