Back in the day my school bus used to pass a car wash with a big sign that read, “HAND POLISH.” Inexplicably I always read “polish” as “Polish,” as in a person or quality originating from Poland.

Conor Oberst’s crew rolled through last night to perform the rocker “Jejune Stars” from the band’s recently released The People’s Key. The performance was spirited and driving -- fitting for the up-tempo song. But did it get Dave to uncross his arms as he lingered in the shadows (2:02)?
