Bright Eyes: "Haile Selassie"
Naming a track "Haile Selassie" is sure to get you mentioned in Das Racist's "Fake Patois 2," but luckily Conor Oberst doesn't don a Eddy Grant-esque accent; instead he references plenty of rasta touchstones, and certainly yells a lot about something. This is pretty strong in Billy Joel territory, but that's okay, I guess. And this has some moves back towards Digital Ash in a Digital Urn, which a certain branch of Bright Eyes fans has been waiting for for years. You can download the track below.
