Poison singer Bret Michaels has hit some incredible lows in recent years. Rock of Love and Rock of Love Bus are two execrable additions to the ever-growing roster of reality TV shows, and his acting career has proved to be entirely unmemorable. Meanwhile, Poison continues to operate as a band, and will whip up some hair-metal nostalgia on a summer tour this year.
At least Michaels produced a genuine Spinal Tap moment at this year’s Tony Awards, where he inexplicably performed a version of Poison’s "Nothin' But a Good Time" with the Broadway cast of Rock of Ages. As Michaels exits the stage, a rapidly descending set piece knocks him to the ground, causing Tonys spokeswoman Christina Stejskal to comment that he "missed his mark."
