“Breaking The Yearlings” (Video)

Sub Pop just released Shearwater’s Animal Joy yesterday, and to celebrate a video for the song “Breaking the Yearlings” has been issued. The clip is mostly filled with animal imagery, presumably to tie in with the album title, while the song is a robust organ and guitar driven track. It’s short and sweet, just over three minutes in length, with Jonathan Meiburg and his band delivering the pounding groove of the song and then getting out while the going’s good. Look out for copies of Animal Joy in independent record stores, which Sub Pop informs us comes in a special LOSER edition featuring a blood red and black swirl in the vinyl.  [via AHIAS]
