Bowerbirds: "Tuck The Darkness In"
N.C. folkies Bowerbirds haven't graced us with their presence since their solid 2009 album, Upper Air. That changes on March 6, when they return with The Clearing, their new album that was recorded at a cabin in North Carolina and at Justin Vernon's April Base studio in Wisconsin.
The band just released the lead track from the album: It's called "Tuck the Darkness In," and it's a spacious, strummy little ditty, with some rousing outro horns. Listen below.
