If you had any doubt about whether or not folk-rockers Bowerbirds came down in the “We love nature” branch of freak-folk, look no further than the new video for “In Our Talons,” off their Hymns for a Dark Horse. The video depicts the destruction of nature by human forces, and even features a love affair between two soon-to-be-crisp Praying Mantises.
