"Beneath Your Tree" is the second advance track from Bowerbirds' upcoming sophomore album, Upper Air. Band members Beth Tacula and Phil Moore do the whole star-crossed, against-all-odds lovers thing as a duet, to be pretty serious effect; Moore could "bleed, bleed, bleed, for days," but his "heart would still beat for you dear." Awww, that's very sweet, but watch that language, or you might start getting Twilight fans at the concerts.

Upper Air is out July 7 in the U.S., July 6 in the UK on Dead Oceans. The album is available now for pre-order, and comes with a free download code so that fans don't have to wait until the physical album arrives in their mailboxes.
