Bootsy Collins: "Hip Hop @ Funk U" f. Ice Cube, Snoop Dogg and Chuck D)
Clearly not content to just run Funk University -- an online-only school for bassists -- Bootsy Collins has also been spending some time in the studio. And the results of his efforts is the awesomely titled Tha Funk Capital of the World. It's due out next Tuesday and includes a slew of guests ranging from Dr. Cornell West to Bela Fleck to the three guests on this track, "Hip Hop @ Funk U." Collins rallied Ice Cube, Snoop Dogg, and Chuck D to appear on the track that's so goofy and fun that you would have be a monster to hate on it. Yes, it's corny as hell, but lighten up, will ya?
