Of all the thoughts you've had about Lauryn Hill's "Everything is Everything" over the thousands of times you've heard it in your life, the one thing you've probably never thought is, "This track needs to lose those vocals! Yap, yap, Lauryn, no one cares!" Because, of course, the vocals are the best part of the song.
Or so you might think until you hear the version currently playing on Rolling Stone's site, starring legendary keyboardist Booker T doing his thing all over the song (also The Roots are there). Booker T's new record, The Road From Memphis, will be out on Anti on May 10.
