Body Language's self-released Social Studies EP dropped last fall and then grew into an extended-extended play earlier this year when the band's poppy tunes began catching a buzz. They also teamed up with indie label Double Denim to release a 7" single, which features perhaps their strongest cut in "You Can." The sugary-sweet and altogether-fun track is relatively heavy on the electronics, especially those that sound studio-perfected. But the Brooklyn group still nails the above live performance of track, even if it's an obviously calculated one. Either way, I can't think of a better pairing for your coffee than that damn catchy glockenspiel and the swashes of synthesizers.
