B.o.B: "No Future" (Odd Future Diss)

Amongst a slew of quotables heard throughout Tyler, the Creator's "Yonkers," there was one series of bars that really stood out in the track's second verse:

"(What you think of Hayley Williams?) Fuck her/Wolf Haley robbin' 'em"/I'll crash that fuckin' airplane that that faggot nigga B.o.B is in/And stab Bruno Mars in his goddamn esophagus/And won't stop until the cops come in."

I think everyone who was subjected to the nearly endless radio plays of "Airplanes" snickered at least once after hearing that, though I doubt they would go as far as Tyler's violent imagery. Nevertheless, it was just one of several biting lines heard on "Yonkers," which also included shots at Pitchfork, hipsters, and former Odd Future affiliate brandUn DeShay. The thing is, no one has really taken the "shots" that seriously yet, except for some foolish back-and-forths with the bloggers at Nah Right.

But that all changed early this morning when B.o.B dropped off "No Future." As its title implies, the track features Mr. "Airplanes" responding to the Odd Future Wolf Gang Kill Them All leader and his crew. And the results are...interesting.

It's true that B.o.B can still rap pretty well, but I don't think anyone was questioning that. How about his skills as a diss rapper? They are, at best, suspect, especially here in response to "Yonkers." His shots remain somewhat subliminal, save for lines like "Keep fucking with me, you ain't gon' have no future." But the thing is, if Tyler never spit that line in "Yonkers," the Atlanta rapper-singer could have released this and no one would have batted an eye.

With that in mind, Tyler apparently didn't hear it as a diss and tweeted the following in response to the track last night, "Whoa. I Don't Think The 'No Future' Song Is Even A Diss. But, Ive Never Heard Him Spit Like That. Took Me By Surprise, Cus Its Tight."

I wouldn't go that far, but what do you all think? Diss or not?
