Blu: "Everything'sOK" f. Jack Davey (prod. Flying Lotus)
With a lineup featuring Jack Davey on the hook and Flying Lotus on the boards, Blu's "Everything'sOK" couldn't be anything other than great, right? Wrong. Unfortunately, the track falls apart right from the beginning as Blu's smoked-out, mellow flow isn't enough to match FlyLo's caffeinated, 8-bit production. You can definitely hear where they were all trying to go here. It sounds like something that could have been a potential crossover tune for Blu. But his his vocals just don't work with this beat. It's really too bad, because he sounded great on that "GNG BNG" remix.
