L.A.-based rapper Blu is one of the more exciting rappers out there right now. Chances are you probably caught his multi-guest spots on How I Got Over from The Roots, if you hadn't already heard of him. Currently, Blu is up in the studio recording a proper debut entitled NoYork! This summer Blu performed some new songs with a live band as a possible indication of what to expect off his the forthcoming album. VTech & Fresh Selects just released some footage from one of these sets at The Fix in Portland, Ore. Even though the footage is almost four months old, it's just now being released. The song is a mellow, mid-tempo affair that showcases Blu and company still working out the kinks a bit. Watch the video here.
