You're probably most familiar with Placebo's chilly, metallic take on Kate Bush classic "Running Up That Hill." San Francisco synth-pop producer Blackbird Blackbird offers a vastly different angle on the haunting tune, churning up the original lyrics inside a choppy, uptempo dance track. While not without its strands of melancholy, the following rendition twists them into a wry, foreboding mix that adopts alternately tropical and industrial tones.
