Black Thought: "Mona Lisa" (Unreleased) (MP3 - Download)

An unreleased mixtape track by Black Thought showed up on the web a few weeks ago. And this time, the leak is apparently a cut from the Roots frontman's shelved solo album called Masterpiece Theatre. "Mona Lisa" is straight-up storytelling from Black Thought, who raps over a haunting beat from J Dilla-affiliate Karriem Riggins. It all makes for a huge tease for Roots and Black Thought fans in general. His followers have been calling for a solo record for years. But at least this will help in the wait for the Legendary's How I Got Over album, which was pushed back to sometime early next year.
