Back in November last year it was reported that Bjork was involved in a feature film that was bringing Finnish illustrator Tove Jansson’s Moomins to life. The movie is one step closer to getting a release, and Bjork has issued this video, titled “The Comet Song” which features clips from the film.
The song is full of wide open spaces, with only odd moments of synth noise and clattering percussion providing a backing for Bjork to deliver a story about the lovable little creatures. I’m guessing the “aw!” factor s going to be extremely high when Moomins and the Comet Chase finally surfaces.
