New Bjork Video!  New Bjork video!  These three simple words send any fan of music videos dashing to their computers to check what the Icelandic Goddess has come up with next.  The latest single from Bjork’s Volta, “The Dull Flame of Desire,” featuring Antony Hegarty (of Antony and the Johnsons) has now gotten the music video treatment. 

Like always, Bjork has some of the most gifted visionary talents to assist her and this video is no exception. Christoph Jantos of Berlin, Masahiro Mogari of Tokyo, and Marçal Cuberta Junca of Girona all selected by Björk from the entries to her "Innocence" video contest to direct this music video.

“The Dull Flame of Desire” video can be described in three phases of Bjork and Hegarty.  First phases consists of a cluster of stars (looking more like Lite Brite pegs) of Bjork and Hegarty.  Second phase has the two in high-contrast black and white exposing Antony’s rather beaten mug.  And the third and final phase has the two in full color with their faces dissolving into one.

Pretty cool minimal video.  I’ve seen better minimal Bjork videos- like this one:
