This new track by Brooklyn's Bishop Allen finds the group having an existential crisis, or at least a visibility one. "Dimmer" proposes exactly what you think it does,  singer Justin Rice wondering if he is slowly becoming invisible, a phenomenon which I understand entirely through an episode of Buffy The Vampire Slayer called "Out of Mind, Out of Sight." If you want to make sure Rice doesn't doesn't go invisible, start terrorizing the school, and punishing people that were mean to him, you might do well to see the band this March when they tour the United States in support of Grrr..., the band's third proper studio LP. The disc is due on Dead Oceans March 10.
