The only notable thing about Birdman & Lil Wayne's "Always Strapped" is that Lil Wayne actually raps and doesn't try to "rock." Beside that, "Always Strapped" is a standard "I'm rich, so rich in fact, I have many women who vie for my affections, and you don't" boast without any of the fireworks that Wayne and (sometimes) Birdman can lend to a track of that type. On top of it, "Always" veers heavily into weed-carrier territory when Birdman and Weezy hand the mike off to Young Money artist Mack Maine.
"Always Strapped" is set for inclusion on Birdman's upcoming album, which is due out this summer. [NahRight]
