Bilal: "Restart" (Live) (Video)
It seems to be the custom when performing at the Fix in Portland, Ore., these days that the artist on the stage that night will no doubt see live footage end up on the 'net in the coming months. The latest to see that occur is Bilal, who was in town promoting his recently released (and fantastic) Airtight's Revenge album. He apparently played more than 90 minutes worth of material, which included a riveting live take on "Restart." Bilal's control of his voice is beyond impressive and he puts that on full display here as he moves from one tone to the next within seconds. It doesn't hurt that his band is great, too.
