When I heard "Little One" on Bilal's latest album, Airtight's Revenge, I had a strong feeling it was about his child (or children?) considering the lyrics and title of the track. But knowing how he is one of the more abstract crooners of our time, I wasn't completely sure. Now, however, Bilal has made the point of the song extremely clear. He recorded the song and created these visuals with director Matthew Cherry as a dedication to his son, who has been diagnosed with autism. It's a moving piece that also serves as a means of promoting awareness for the developmental disorder and the organization Autism Speaks.
Airtight's Revenge is out now.
