Roscoe Dash's monotone hook still sounds way too familiar, Big Sean's lyrics are somewhat cringe-worthy, and Kanye West is probably the track's only saving grace in the vocals department. So why is "Marvin & Chardonnay" so goddamn catchy? Oh, right, the creaky, thudding beat from Andrew "Pop" Wansel and Mike Dean and, as I said, Yeezy's bars. Sigh. Anyway, now that the Finally Famous single has continued to dominate the radio waves, it's time for it to head to the music video channels with some flashy visuals from director Hype Williams. Here's the thing, though: It's pretty much the same thing as the video for Kanye's "Gold Digger." I mean, yeah, it's not completely identical but...well, just click here and judge for yourself.
Finally Famous is out now.
