Big K.R.I.T.: "If I Should Die"

Big K.R.I.T. is clearly not looking to just sit around on the buzz he's created with one of 2010's finest efforts, K.R.I.T. Wuz Here. He's been dishing out tracks here and there -- such as the killer "My Interpretation" on our Summer Sampler -- while working on a number of projects. One of those, a joint project with fellow up-and-comer Yelawolf, is due soon, hopefully.

The track in question here, which samples Marvin Gaye's "If I Should Die Tonight," is off JonnyShipes' forthcoming GoodTalk Vol.9 (Curve Your Enthusiasm Edition) mixtape. You already know it's going to offer a touch of nostalgia thanks to the sample littered through K.R.I.T.'s beat, but it's also another dose of lyrical excellence. I can't wait to hear what he has in store for his Def Jam debut, which is untitled and has no release date as of now.

You can stream "If I Should Die" below. The mixtape drops Sept. 14.
