Beyonce: "If I Were a Boy/You Oughta Know" (Live at the Grammys) (Video)

There was only one real winner at the Grammys last night (Jan. 31)— Beyoncé, who equaled a record for the most wins by a female performer after winning Song of the Year, Best Contemporary R&B Album, Best Female Pop Vocal Performance, Best Female R&B Vocal Performance, Best Traditional R&B Vocal Performance and Best R&B Song.

Naturally, she also played live at the show, with this typically grandiose performance that includes a version of “If I Were a Boy” from I Am…Sasha Fierce and a cover of “You Oughta Know” from Alanis Morissette’s Jagged Little Pill album. It’s not Beyoncé’s finest moment—why an Alanis cover? And what’s up with all the soldiers?—but it’s unlikely to stop her from becoming even more popular as a consequence.
