Bon Iver has been getting remixed so much that a compilation of reworks of the group’s music even surfaced earlier this month. Now, there was a remix of the Bon Iver closer “Beth/Rest” on there, but it wasn’t by Philadelphia-based Work Drugs. So, here goes their version: a bigger, thicker, more synthesized take on the broad original.
Interestingly, it was made using “a 10 year old Packard Bell found along the roadside” and was also–in true Bon Iver fashion–recorded in the woods. It was made for an ongoing Bon Iver remix competition; you can go here to vote and go below to stream and download.
