Best Coast: "When You Wake Up"
Earlier this week we heard Wavves's contribution to their split tour 7" with Best Coast, "Stained Glass (Won't You let Me Into Yr Heart)." Now that the digital single is out on iTunes, here's Best Coast's track, "When You Wake Up." What does it sound like? Pretty much like every other Best Coast song: lots of cooing, three simple chords and Bethany Cosentino asking you to love her. The guitar noodling on the hook seems to be a tad bit more complex, though, but nothing here will convert non-fans. Listen:
