It was difficult to escape from the ubiquitous Bethany Cosentino in 2010, and that trend looks set to continue in 2011, beginning with her band’s network television debut on Jimmy Fallon’s show last night (Jan. 3). Check out the video above to hear Cosentino and Best Coast perform a version of “Boyfriend” from Crazy For You, which is full of the kind of melancholy indie pop hooks that she is so adept at delivering. Next up is a tour and spit single with her actual boyfriend, Nathan Williams of Wavves, providing further proof that there will be no let up in the all-out Best Coast assault on the senses.
