Belle & Sebastian: "Write About Love"
"Write About Love" is the surprisingly muscular title track from Belle and Sebastian's upcoming album. Over a stabbing rhythm that turns breezy, Stuart Murdoch exchanges vocal duties with Oscar-nominated actress Carey Mulligan (An Education), who manages to hold her own with the long-running twee-poppers. Some of the vocal melodies could have been ripped from 60's soul songs, while the guitar parts have an almost country-like twinge to them. Give the track a listen below.
