The Red Hot organization is gearing up for another indie-rock heavy collaboration for AIDS/HIV charities: Red Hot + Rio 2 is due out on June 28, and it features Gogol Bordello, Of Montreal, Beck, Dirty Projectors, Os Mutantes, John Legend, Cults, Madlib, Javelin, Jose Gonzalez and more. And Beirut, whose cover of Caetano Veloso's "O Leãozinho" is above. Beirut have actually covered this song before, and it's right in the band's current wheelhouse of South of the border-influenced brass music. Beirut man Zach Condon even sings it in Portuguese, which sets a high bar for everyone else involved.
