
Zach Condon and company gave their latest Beirut album, The Rip Tide, a notable push last night with a great performance on late night TV. They took to the Late Show With David Letterman to tackle one of the record's best tracks, the still-great "East Harlem." You have to think that this will expand Beirut's reach considering Letterman's audience is probably not completely aware of Condon's work just yet. Although, to be fair, Letterman-lifers will remember that Beirut came through two years ago to perform "A Sunday Smile," off The Flying Club Cup. Anyway, you can watch last night's performance below.
