Beck: "Within Attraction" f. Tortoise & Thurston Moore

After a couple weeks off, Beck's Record Club's cover of Yanni's new age masterwork Live at the Acropolis continues with the above video for the menacing "Within Attraction." It's heavy on Tortoise's sound sculpting and Thurston Moore and Beck's moaning, and like all these Yanni covers, is okay in theory but pretty rough in practice. I mean this is obviously one of the hardest albums ever to cover, but mostly these videos have been heavy on a bunch of dudes just dicking around in the studio. Which I guess is the point of every Record Club, when you get down to it.
